roosterwaltz21 Even though it clocks in @ ~45 mins, it plays like such a longer album. It feels like a condensed version of an audiobook/soundtrack for an 80s movie. I'd really like to play this alongside Michael Jackson's Thriller come Halloween time! Favorite track: Main Act - Out Of Time.

Ian Lamb Working with Kev many moons ago was an introduction to non-mainstream music and it's interesting to see how his music has evolved here. Very refreshing to listen to music that's difficult to categorize, I like it but I can't explain why, but I say that about all forms of art I like. The story focuses on Lord Ashton, a practitioner of the dark arts in Victorian England, as he races against the clock to commit to paper the events that unfolded some 50 years previous in the basement of his Manor house in the English countryside. The storm rages outside as time inexorably races to midnight on New Year's Eve, and something not of this world moves ever closer...

REALLY wish I'd subscribed sooner to be able to enjoy this on vinyl! Curious the artist cited 12 Monkeys and not La Jetee as one of the key inspirations. For me, this has a more somber, introspective and timeless feel more akin to La Jetee than 12 Monkeys (though I also am a big fan of Terry Gilliam). Gorgeous music and you get the bonus of a list of excellent movies to enjoy (another note to the artist: Time Crimes is also a good film to watch). Now to somehow procure a vinyl copy...
